Tech savvy people are looking for the next best phone at an affordable price. Some of the phones that people are buying are Moto G6, Asus ZenFone Max Pro, and Huawei P20 Pro. These phones offers different specific needs for a person’s preference.
Moto G6, the Motorola phone released April 2018 running the 8.0 oreo operation system. This phone with a 5.7-inch display is available for around $250. The phone will be running Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Other models of this phone will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory. This phone will be processing at 1.8 GHz per core with its Octa-core Cortex-A53. Although with the phones processing speed it will be lacking in the camera department. With the phone’s, dual 12 MP and 5MP and 8 or 16 front facing camera, depending on the model. With the phone’s cameras they won’t be taking high quality selfies. The phone also lacks in durability, from the phone’s previous version the G5 to the G6. The new Moto G6 moved away from the aluminum case and resorted to gorilla glass. Although all the high end phones are using gorilla glass with the Moto G6 phone it seems hollow under the glass.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro, another Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 phone that was released May 2018. This phone is selling for around $200, and at first glance it doesn’t seem like anything special. With the 6-inch display it proves that it is more than worthless. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro is running an Octa-core Kyro 260 that gets it to 1.8 GHz per core while running Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone is also sporting 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Another version of this phone could have 6 or 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The camera on this phone is a dual 13 MP and 5 MP main camera with an 8 MP front facing camera. Although this phone has a better camera the phone’s processor and RAM can’t handle the auto focus and will cause the camera to lag. Unlike the other phones the Asus ZenFone Max Pro is encased in aluminum.
Huawei P20 Pro, a phone released in April 2018. The Huawei P20 Pro will be running a Hisilicon Kirin 970 as opposed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. The Hisilicon Kirin 970 is an Octa-core with 4 cores at 2.4 GHz and 4 at 1.8 GHz. Although the Huawei P20 Pro has a different chip set it will run Android Oreo 8.1. The phone has a triple main camera with one 40 MP a 20MP and 8 MP. The phone will also have a front facing 24 MP camera, and 6 GB of RAM with 128GB of internal memory. The only reason that the phone has a bigger memory than the other 2 phones is because the phone doesn’t have an external memory slot. With a price tag on the phone of $850 it is coming with all the bells and whistles. This phone is rivaling with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the iPhone X with its features. The phone features a 6.1-inch display encased in gorilla glass and aluminum. The phone’s frame features a scratch free bonding that increases the phone’s durability. A downside to the phone is its lack of wireless charging.
Overall there is a lot of choices for phones and these three are just to name a few. Based on these three phones the best choice is the Huawei P20 Pro. The phone outperforms the others in CPU processing. The phone surpasses the others in camera quality and capability. It has more RAM and internal storage than the other two, though it doesn’t an expandable memory slot. It may be significantly pricier than the other two but is well worth the extra price.
